Bio: HaikuMama (also known as Kari Anne Roy) is a writer and a happily harried mama. Her writing has appeared in Parenting Magazine, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, and all over her blog, www.haikuoftheday.com. She has written a book - aptly named - Haiku Mama (because seventeen syllables is all you have time to read). Her first novel for middle schoolers is due in 2008 from Random House. It is not titled Haiku Mama. Kari and her family live in a too-small tickytacky box in the suburbs of Austin. But they can go to Target everyday, so that's something.
