Grab a Grape or Slurp a Strawberry
Two easy-yet-impressive fruit delights

For the grapes: run different colored grapes under cold water, dust with regular sugar and freeze for an hour.  No need to defrost, serve when ready.

For the strawberries: wash strawberries well, remove tops and bruises. Cut each one in half or thirds if you must. Place in a large bowl that has a secure cover or a large jar. Add a few tablespoons of sugar and the juice of a fresh lemon or two. Fill your container 2/3, nearly covering berries. Place the cover on and shake gently. Place in the refrigerator for at least six hours, turning and shaking every hour or so. Serve with juice glasses and a ladle.
